Memory Profiler overlaps letters when using a String containing '\r' characters
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project “MPBug.zip“
2. Open the Memory Profiler (Window>Analysis>Memory Profiler)
3. Select the “Snap“ Snapshot
4. Select the “All of Memory“ tab
5. Expand Managed, Managed Objects and then System.String
6. Observe the second String from the top (or scroll down to find the bugged one)
Expected result: ‘\r' characters are shown as a new line, String letters aren’t overlapping
Actual result: ‘\r' characters aren’t shown as a new line, String letters are overlapping
Reproducible with: 1.0.0, 1.1.0-exp.2 (2023.1.0b13, 2023.2.0a11)
Not reproducible with: Version 0.7.1-preview.1, Version 0.7.0-preview.2 (2020.3.47f1, 2021.3.23f1, 2022.2.16f1)
Can’t test with: 1.0.0-pre.1, 1.0.0-pre.2, 1.0.0-pre.3 (2020.3.47f1, 2021.3.23f1) (“All of Memory” tab is not supported), 1.0.0-pre.1, 1.0.0-pre.2, 1.0.0-pre.3 (2022.2.16f1, 2023.1.0b13, 2023.2.0a11) (Either “ArgumentException: The input asset name cannot be empty.“ error or the System.String name is <No Name>)
Reproduced on: macOS 13.0.1 (Intel), Windows 10 (by reporter)
