"MissingReferenceException" errors are thrown when closing an in-game dropdown field
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “FleeLink.zip“ project
2. Open the “MainMenu“ Scene
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Click on the “Options” button in the Game view
5. Open and close any dropdown field in the Game view
6. Observe the Console
Expected results: “MissingReferenceException“ errors are thrown until the mouse is dragged outside of the Options panel
Actual results: No errors are thrown in the Console
Reproducible in: 1.11.0 (2021.3.44f1, 2022.3.47f1, 6000.0.20f1)
Not reproducible in: 1.8.0, 1.10.0 (2021.3.44f1, 2022.3.47f1, 6000.0.20f1)
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (23H2)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Note: The first line of the error reads:
”MissingReferenceException: The object of type 'GameObject' has been destroyed but you are still trying to access it…”
