Windows reports wrong microphone sampling rates
- create an empty unity project
- save the scene
- create a game object
- create a C# script named 'foo' and paste this script in
- drag drop the script onto the game object
- hit the run button
output will display on screen and console.
on my machine (MacBook), output is:
'Built-in Microphone' (44100,96000)
'Built-in Input' (44100,96000)
'Logitech USB Headset' (8000,48000)
The bug is that Windows platforms are reporting (0,0) for the microphone sampling rates
