Water Decals do not render to anchored position in Local Space when the Distant Wind Speed is set to a higher value
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-104325.zip” project
2. Open the “OutdoorsScene” Scene
3. Enter Play mode
4. In the Game view, move around with WASD keys
5. Observe the Water Decal behind the boat
Expected result: The Water Decal always stays behind the boat
Actual result: The Water Decal is moved by the waves away from the boat
Reproducible with: 6000.1.0a2, 6000.1.11f1, 6000.2.0b9, 6000.3.0a1
Not reproducible with: 6000.0.53f1, 6000.1.0a1
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: no other environment tested
Notes:
- The Decals Gizmo position is still shown correctly in the Scene view, but the Decal itself gets “washed off” by the Ocean current/Wind Speed
- The issue is also visible in the Scene view without entering the Play mode
- The “Distant Wind Speed” value can be found on the “Ocean” GameObject in the “Water Surface” Component under Simulation tab. Setting this to a lower value does not show the issue or makes it less prominent
