VideoPlayer leaks memory when in Play mode

How to reproduce:
1. Open attached "" project
2. Enter Play mode
3. Open the Profiler window and click on the "Memory" section
4. Observe "Total System Memory Usage:" in the Profiler window

Expected result: memory usage does not increase over time
Actual result: memory usage increases gradually over time

Reproducible with: 2017.4.30f1, 2018.4.4f1, 2019.1.10f1, 2019.2.0b9, 2019.3.0a9

  1. Resolution Note (fix version 2019.3):

This is due to an internal jobs debugger bookkeeping. Disabling this bookkeeping for the VideoPlayer.
    Fixed in 2019.3.0f6

  2. Resolution Note (fix version 2018.4):

    Fixed in 2018.4.18f1

I was looking for a way to trim my videos. My video player doesn't support the resolution. I was hoping to trim videos with QuickTime Player for Mac . I hope it's worth a try and would be easy to get the job done.

Tested with 2019.2.4f1 and 2019.3.0 using the exact same code
No problem so far with 2019.2.4f1
Serious memory leak issue with 2019.3.0

I am having the same leak on 2019.1.8f on iOS. I tried creating a new Video player every time, but it's still the same. And stop() doesn't help. Is anyone having the same problem and found a solution?

I retract my last statement. The bug is also present in 2018.3.6f1.

It doesn't seem to happen in 2018.3.6
