Regression
Yes
Validation message text overflows its background in Shader Graph Custom Function node
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new project using Universal 3D template
- Create and open any Shader Graph
- Right-click > Create Node > Custom Function
- Select the created node
- In the Graph Inspector, in Node Settings, add a list item to the Outputs list
- Observe an error/warning appears next to the Custom Function
- Hover over the error and observe the text
Actual results: The red validation text (specifically "referenced") extends past / overlaps the bounds of its background bar, making the message appear to overflow its expected container
Expected results: The red validation text is fully contained within its dark background bar; the background resizes to fit the entire message and no text overlaps surrounding UI
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0b5, 6000.3.7f1, 6000.4.0b8, 6000.5.0a6
Not reproducible with versions: 6000.0.67f1, 6000.3.0b4
Tested on (OS): Windows 11, macOS 26.2
