Unable to change the Shadow Map resolution for lights via Inspector when 'preserveCachedShadow' is enabled
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “PreserveShadowExample.zip” project
2. Open the “ExampleScene” Scene
3. Enter the Play mode
4. On the left side click Upgrade/Downgrade shadow buttons
5. Observe the shadow changing next to the left cube
6. Repeat 4th step on the right-side buttons
7. Observe the shadows next to the cube on the right
Expected result: The shadow resolution changes
Actual result: No shadow changes are visible
Reproducible with: 6000.0.27f1, 6000.0.31f1, 6000.1.0a7
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.47f1, 2022.3.54f1, 6000.0.26f1
Reproducible on: macOS 15.1.1 (M1 Max), Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note:
- The Inspector value for the resolution changes, but no shadow changes are visible in the Game view
