uGUI in Texture2D is different than in the Game view when calling ToTexture2D() method on a RenderTexture



How to reproduce:
1. Open the user's attached "" project
2. Open the "SampleScene" Scene
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Press "New Game" in the Game view
5. Press "Save" in the Game view
6. Press on one of the empty save slots in the Game view

Expected: The save thumbnail shows the same view as in the Game view
Actual: The save thumbnail is mostly covered by the dialogue UI

Reproducible with: 2019.4.15f1, 2019.4.17f1, 2020.1.17f1, 2020.2.1f1, 2021.1.0b1
Not reproducible with: 2018.4.30f1, 2019.4.14f1

- When dialogue UI is covering most of the screen, the save thumbnail covers only a quarter of the screen or is without the dialogue UI at all

    Fixed in: 2021.2.0a7

    Fixed issue by having the canvas scaler update before all other UI components as well as calculate the scaleFactor based upon the size the Canvas will want to render at.

    Is there an approximate release timeline for this issue? All it says it `Planned for 2021.1` but no mention of when

    This issue seems to be holding up an update of Naninovel, which is a rather powerful engine for visual novel games. It's helping us a lot in development, and the next update has quite a lot of fixes that are important, so it would be very helpful to have this issue dealt with.
