TMP H1 style adds asterisks to either side of the text
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new project.
- In scene hierarchy, Right-Click > UI > Text - TextMeshPro.
- Select the text to view it in Inspector.
- Under the TMP Text Input, select the Text Style dropdown and set it to H1.
Actual results: The Heading text has an asterisk on either side.
Expected results: Text is free from asterisks on either side.
- It is confusing as a user to have this happen, and looks like a formatting error as typically you add asterisks to make text bold in text formatting programs. Style sheets are not entry level knowledge if you are a new user.
- It looks like this has leaked through while documentation was written - you can see in this tutorial how to add the asterisks to H1 through a style sheet.
Reproducible with versions: 6000.1.0a3, 6000.0.27f1, 2022.3.49f1, 2022.2.0a17
Can’t test with versions: 2021.3, not supported on Ubuntu 24.04
Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 24.04
