The Player hangs when activating another maximized application
How to reproduce:
1. Create and open a new project
2. Build and run the project
3. Activate any maximized application (like “Safari“, using CTRL and arrow-up key)
4. Return to the Player window
5. Observe the Player
Expected results: The Player does not hang
Actual results: The Player Hangs
Reproducible in: 2021.3.37f1, 2021.3.38f1, 2022.3.21f1, 2022.3.28f1
Not reproducible in: 2021.3.36f1, 2022.3.20f1, 6000.0.1f1
Reproduced on: macOS 13.6.4 (M1, 2020)
Not reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (23H2), No other environment tested
Notes:
- If the Player is hanging, the green “Expand” icon will not appear, and the beachball mouse cursor will start spinning
- Sometimes the window needs to be switched more than once to reproduce successfully
