The Editor freezes on "Start importing" when the project contains a large amount of FBX models
Reproduction steps:
1. Delete the library folder from the attached “ASDQWE” project
2. Open the project
3. Wait ~1 hour and observe the Editor
Expected result: The Editor opens or continues importing
Actual result: The Editor freezes while importing
Reproducible with: 2023.2.15f1, 6000.0.0b12
Could not test with: 2021.3.36f1, 2022.3.22f1 (Could not downgrade the project due to package and asset dependencies)
Reproducible on: macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 (Intel), Windows 11 (user’s)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Workaround: closing and reopening the Editor
- The freeze always occurs on the same fbx model. This model loads fine on an empty project

I am experiencing a similar issue when opening a large project in 6000.0.39f1, which it says at the top should have fixed it?
