[Shuriken] ParticleSystem doesn't get rendered into a texture when using a CommandBuffer
Repro steps:
1. Open user attached project
2. Open scene "Foo"
3. In the main menu bar select MyMenu -> Generate thumbnails
4. Open the out.png that's in the project folder
Expected: Particles are rendered into the texture
Actual: Only the mesh of a prefab gets rendered
Reproducible with: 2017.2.3p3, 2017.4.8f1, 2018.1.9f1, 2018.2.2f1, 2018.3.0a6

Resolution Note:
Closing as I think the risk of causing new regressions outweighs the benefit of trying to fix this.
Built-in renderer and Particle System are both our of active development so we should try to limit large code churn for them.
