Regression
No
Shadow artifacts around edges when under certain light angles
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the “ShadowIssueStripped“ project
2. Open the “Sample” scene
3. Observe the cube in the Scene/Game view
Expected result: No shadow artifacts
Actual result: Shadow artifacts around the edges of the cube
Reproduced in: 2021.3.29f1, 2022.3.7f1, 2023.1.9f1, 2023.2.0b4
Reproduced on: macOS 13.4.1 (Intel), Windows 10
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
1. Also reproduced in Play Mode and Player
2. Increasing the shadow bias to high values eventually makes the issue disappear. However, the bias value has to be prohibitively high, at which point the shadows do not come into contact with the objects that cast them
3. The reporter had reproduced with various resolutions and numbers of cascades but the issue never really went away
