“Send” and “Wait” informational boxes move out of the view when resizing the description input field in a new Event, an the description input field can move out of its bounds when resizing the Blackboard window

Unity Behavior

-

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new project using the Universal 3D template
  2. Install the Behavior package (com.unity.behavior)
  3. Create a new Blackboard asset (Assets > Create > Behavior > Blackboard)
  4. Open the Blackboard
  5. Click the "+" button and select Event
  6. Click the "Create new event channel type..."
  7. Enter any name
  8. Click the "Next" button
  9. Resize the description input field box by click and dragging the resize icon
  10. Observe the "Send" and "Wait" informational boxes in the Blackboard window
  11. Resize the description input field to its maximum size
  12. Resize the Blackboard window to be the minimum size
  13. Observe the description input field

Actual results: The "Send" and "Wait" informational boxes move according to the description input field size, which in some cases results in the informational boxes leaving the view, and the description input field can leave its bounds when the Blackboard window is small

Expected results: The "Send" and "Wait" informational boxes are always in view, the description input field does not leave its bounds

Reproducible with versions: 1.0.15 (6000.0.69f1, 6000.3.10f1, 6000.4.0b11, 6000.5.0a8)

Tested on (OS): MacOS Silicon Tahoe 26.2, Ubuntu 24.04
