Ribbon trail mesh collapses into a single line from 2D line extrusion when particles form near-vertical lines
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the scene “SampleScene”
2. Select the “RibbonTrail” GameObject
3. Observe the Scene view. The ribbon mesh is visible.
4. In the Inspector, go to Emission section under the Particle System component
5. Change the “Rate over Time” to 665 from 664
6. Observe the Scene view. The ribbon mesh collapses into a straight line.
Actual results:
The ribbon mesh collapses into a straight line for a specific emission rate over time value.
Expected results:
The ribbon mesh does not collapse into a straight line for a specific emission rate over time value.
