[Profiler] The Memory Profiler Module UI override from the Memory Profiler Package does not appear for package version 1.1.4 and 1.1.5

-

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Windows/Analysis/Profiler,
  2. add the Memory Usage Module
  3. Select a frame and the module and observe the look and behavior of the bottom half of the window (the Module Details)
  4. Close the window and Install the Memory Profiler Package version 1.1.3
  5. Reopen the window and observe the Module's details again
  6. Close the window and update the package to 1.1.4 or 1.1.5
  7. Reopen the window and observe the Module's details again

Note: If the module does not appear for you in 1.1.3, go to Preferences/Analysis/Memory Profiler and tick the box next to "Replace Memory UI in Profiler Window"

Actual results: The Memory Usage module details has a UI and details similar to what the package UI is when the replacement UI is supposed to be active.

Expected results: The Memory Usage module UI is only present in versions before 1.1.4, and in those previous version in various states of incompleteness (vs the default one on Unity 6, especially with regard to the Resident vs Committed bar)

Reproducible with versions:  package version 1.1.4/1.1.5 plus 2022.3.59f1, 6000.0.0f41, 6000.1.0b9, 6000.2.0a6

Not reproducible with versions: package version 1.1.3 or earlier plus 2022.3.1f1, 6000.0.1f1, 6000.1.1f1, 6000.2.1f1

Can’t test with versions:

Tested on (OS): Windows

Notes:

  • There is a package component to this bug that is getting fixed separately to the main editor side bugfix. The Editor is only getting fixed for 6.2, while the package side will get fixed for version 1.1.6 which become available to all version of the Editor that the package previously supported (i.e. back to 2022.3)
