Player Projects checkbox can not be ticked when Visual Studio is the selected external script editor
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Open External Tools in the Preferences window (Unity → Settings → External Tools)
3. Select Visual Studio as the External Script Editor
4. Tick the “Player Projects” checkbox
5. Observe the Preferences window
Actual result: Player Projects checkbox can not be ticked
Expected result: Player Projects checkbox is ticked
Reproducible with: 2.0.25 (6000.3.10f1), 2.0.27 (6000.0.68f1, 6000.3.10f1, 6000.4.0b10, 6000.5.0a7)
Not reproducible with: 2.0.23 (6000.3.10f1)
Reproducible on: Windows 11 Pro (25H2)
Could not test on: macOS Sequoia 15.7.3 (M1 Max) (Newest versions of Visual Studio are not supported on MacOS)
Note: Issue does not reproduce with older versions of Visual Studio, only Visual Studio 2026 is affected
