Placeholder search text not grey after clicking away from filled search bar
Steps to reproduce:
- Open any project.
- Window > Package Manager.
- In any category i.e. "In Project", type anything into the search bar.
- Click to another category i.e. "Unity Registry".
You may need to repeat steps 3 & 4 a second time to see the issue.
Actual results: Search bar placeholder text ("Search Unity Registry") is white.
Expected results: Search bar placeholder text is grey.
Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.16f1, 2023.2.0b17
Can’t test with versions:
- 2023.1.20f1, 2022.3.42f1, 2021.3.42f1, different UI & no placeholder text.
Tested on (OS): MacOS Intel 12.7.4
Notes:
- If you click onto another category and click back, it will be grey as expected.
- Not extensively regression tested - marked as not a regression as this UI is relatively new. Contact the ticket reporter if further testing is required.
