PhysX: Crash when timescale = 0 and removing objects
Scene is frozen by setting time scale to zero
Sometimes when removing objects from the scene for example, there's a crash related to PhysX.
From their crash log (running on iPad) I can see that the crash comes from ConvertContactToMono, but see attachment for full trace.
The crash reproduced easily in Mac Editor, so it is not an iOS specific issue. Please see video for repro steps. While I couldn't get it crashing following the steps exactly, I was able to get it crashing by either:
- Follow the steps as video shows. If you don't crash, keep erasing more tiles.
- Follow the steps as video shows. If you don't crash, click the eraser button once, keep erasing more tiles.
