Package Manager Select all keyboard shortcut selects all packages even if they’re not visible to the user when the Package Manager has no search results and the shortcut is pressed

-

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new Unity project using the Universal 3D template
  2. Open the Package Manager window (Window > Package Management > Package Manager)
  3. Type something in the search bar to get no results
  4. Click on the "No results for" section to unfocus the Search bar
  5. Press the Select all shortcut (command+a/control+a)
  6. Observe the Package Manager window

Actual results: All packages are selected

Expected results: No packages are selected because there are no search results

Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.60f1, 6000.2.8f1, 6000.3.0b7, 6000.4.0a3

Tested on (OS): MacOS Silicon Sequoia 15.6.1

Notes:

  • If the Select all shortcut is pressed in the "Updates" tab with no packages there to update, the Package Manager changes to a different tab
