OSX: Unity not registering rotate tiles keyboard shortcuts after creating a new primitive 2D shape
1. Open scene "1" of attached project "rotate.zip"
2. Click on the Homer tile in the tile palette
3. With Homer selected, move cursor over the tilemap and press [ or ] to rotate the tile counterclockwise/clockwise to verify functionality works
4. Place a Homer tile down
5. Assets > right click > Create > Sprites > Square
6. Hover mouse back over tilemap, press [ or ] (tile still rotates)
7. Place tile down
8. Press [ or ]
Expected: Tile rotates
Observed: Tile goes invisible after the key is pressed and does not rotate

Occurring in: 2017.3.0a6, 2017.2.0b8, - 2017.2.0b10
Not occurring: 2017.2.0b7 and older
