Reproduction steps:
1. Open the customer's attached project "SBRepro2-9d28d416.7z"
2. Build and run the project on Quest 2
3. Notice the flickering/corruption in the sky
Expected result: the camera does not exhibit flickering issues when rendering the skybox from certain positions in the level with Multiview Rendering Mode
Actual result: the camera is exhibiting flickering issues when rendering the skybox from certain positions in the level with Multiview Rendering Mode (See attached "Repro1.mp4")
Reproduces on: 2021.3.0f1, 2022.1.0f1, 2022.2.0a11
Customer noted that issue does not manifest in 2020.3.32f1 using URP 10.8.0
Could not test on 2019.4.38f1 and 2020.3.33f1 due to package errors when downgrading the project
Reproducible with these devices:
N/A, Oculus (Quest 2), Android 10, CPU: Snapdragon XR2, GPU: Adreno (TM) 650
Could not test with these devices:
VLNQA00275 - Oculus Quest (Quest), CPU: Snapdragon 835 MSM8998, GPU: Adreno 540, OS: 10
Notes:
-Rendering issue does not reproduce when using the Multipass rendering mode
-Issue does not reproduce when using Vulkan (however the frame times increase to 40ms)
-Could not test with OpenXR plugin due to project not building when switching plugins
