1173340
Regression
No
Object's shadow seems distorted from certain camera angles when Heightmap is applied
Repro steps:
1. Open attached "case_1173340.zip"
2. Open "SampleScene.unity"
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Observe the shadow of the cube
Expected results: left side of the shadow stays the same, as seen in Scene View
Actual results: left side of the shadow distorts
Reproducible with: 2017.4.31f1, 2018.4.5f1, 2019.1.13f1, 2019.2.0f1, 2019.3.0a11
Note: changing the position of the Main Camera either gets rid of the distortion or distorts another part of the shadow. Removing the Heightmap from "Crossbeams.mat" gets rid of the distortions altogether.
