Multiple errors are thrown when TMP Dropdown is set to Visualize and entering Play Mode with Scene View visible
How to reproduce:
1. Open attached project ("case_1186819.zip")
2. In the Hierarchy expand "Canvas" Game object and select "Dropdown"
3. In the Inspector window make sure Visualize option is selected
4. Press Play and observe Console
Expected result: No errors are thrown
Actual result: Multiple "MissingReferenceException" and "GUI Error" errors are thrown
Reproducible in: 2018.4.10f1, 2019.2.7f2, 2019.3.0b5, 2020.1.0a6 (Textmeshpro 1.4.0 - 1.4.1, 2.0.0 - 2.0.1)
Not reproducible in: 2018.4.10f1, 2019.2.7f1, 2019.3.0b5, 2020.1.0a6 (Textmeshpro 1.0.21 - 1.3.0)
Could not test in: 2017.4.32f1 (Package Manager not introduced)
Note - After successful reproduction of the issue, errors keep appearing in the Console when out of the Play Mode as well (When TMP Dropdown is selected and moving the mouse in the Scene view or Inspector window)

Resolution Note (fix version 1.5.0 & 2.1.0):
The following issue has been resolved. The fix is contained in the latest release of the TMP package for Unity 2018.4 which is version 1.5.0-preview.1 and version 2.1.0-preview.1 for Unity 2019.x.
