Monodevelop crashes when using split screen
To reproduce:
1. Open any script with MonoDevelop
2. Click-hold maximize (green) button to launch split screen on Monodevelop window
3. Select anything as secondary window
Actual behavior: Monodevelop crashes
Regression from 5.2 to 5.3

I guess I should clarify: I'm not really sure what "click-hold maximize (green) button" means. I usually drag the upper tab to one side of the window to launch 2 columns (two scripts side by side). This causes my Monodevelop to crash.
Quick note to other people experiencing this issue: it seems that if I manually go View > Editor Layout > 2 Columns, Monodevelop holds up better. It seems to be the act of dragging the windows that is causing the crash.
