[macOS] "Visual Studio Code" is missing from the External Script Editor dropdown menu even though it is Installed and Updated
To reproduce:
- Install the Visual Studio Code on your machine;
- Open Unity Hub and create the New Project;
- Open the Preferences window;
- Select the "External Tools" options;
- Expand the "External Script Editor" dropdown menu;
Expected result: You can find the "Visual Studio Code" option;
Actual result: There's no "Visual Studio Code" option;
Notes:
- This issue reproduces only on macOS;
- Other Script Editors such as the "Rider" or "Visual Studio" are detectable;
Reproducible in Unity 2023.1.0a18
Not reproducible in Unity 2023.1.0a17

Resolution Note (2023.1.X):
VS Code package is deprecated thus IDE does not detected automatically. But it is possible to select it manually or add the package by name manually in the package manager.
