This happens on Ubuntu 18.04 with Unity 2018.3.1f1. I have tried with the following desktop environments (DE): Unity, XFCE4 and Cinnamon.
I have a AMD GPU (RX 580) and have tried both AMDGPU and AMDGPU-PRO.
