Resolution Note:
Thank you for submitting this issue. After investigating on AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA graphics cards with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, we have determined the root cause to be a regression in the GNOME desktop environment version 42.9, as used in this release of Ubuntu.
As a workaround, we recommend installing an alternative desktop environment such as XFCE.
To install XFCE4 on Ubuntu 22.04, use the following commands:
* sudo apt update
* sudo apt install xfce4 xfce4-goodies
Once installed, log out of your current session. On the login screen, click the gear icon, select Xfce Session, and log back in to start using XFCE.
Thank you again for reporting this issue and helping us improve.
