Linux - Paste from outside Unity into the Launcher input fields doesn't work, and nor do context menus
This impacts all users attempting to log in with a password manager, or trying to paste in an Activation Key
Steps to reproduce:
- Copy text from a non-Unity application
- Run Unity and find a text input field (e.g. password, username, etc)
- Attempt to paste using Ctrl+V
- Attempt to use the right-click context menu
Result:
- Paste does not work (although it does if you copy and paste text from input fields within the launcher itself)
- Context menu either does not appear, or appears but vanishes instantly
