Regression
Yes
Linux Editor crashes at "gtk_fixed_get_type" when opening a project with a broken or corrupt layout
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user attached project(New Unity Project.zip)
2. Observe the crash
Reproducible with: 2019.3.0a2, 2019.4.18f1, 2020.2.1f1, 2021.1.0a3
Not reproducible with: 2018.4.31f1, 2019.3.0a1, 2021.1.0a4, 2021.1.0b5, 2020.2.0a2
Notes:
1. Reproducible on Ubuntu 18.04
2. Not reproducible on Windows 10
3. Related to a Windows case 1275270
4. There is a workaround that requires deleting the "CurrentLayout-default.dwlt" file located in the "[ProjectPath]/Library" folder and removing the "~/.config/unity3d/Preferences/Editor-5.x/Layouts" directory for the Editor to be able to open the project

I have Ubuntu 20.4, I go to
~/.config/unity3d/Preferences/Editor-5.x/Layouts/default/Default.wlt
and paste the content from this file in my projects CurrentLayout-default.dwlt in Library/
Hope this helps
