Lights shine through opaque objects when the "Rendering Path" option is set to "Deferred"
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project user project “Unity 2022 Bugs - Lighting Bug.zip“
2. Open Scene “Light Bug Scene“ (Assets/Scenes)
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Observe the “Wall Transparent Front“ and “Wall Opaque Front“ GameObjects
Expected result: Light isn’t visible on the “Wall Transparent Front“ GameObject
Actual result: Light is visible on the “Wall Transparent Front“ GameObject
Reproducible with: 2021.3.14f1, 2022.1.23f1, 2022.2.0b15, 2023.1.0a19
Can’t test with: 2020.3.42f1 (All objects are pink)
Reproduced on: macOS (12.5 Intel)
Note:
- In versions 2021.3.14f1 and 2022.1.23f1, the lights on the “Wall Transparent Front“ GameObject are visible better from further away
- Issue is reproducible in Builds
