[Mobile] [Input System] Application crashes once character count in Input Field is > 64

Package

-

Reproduction steps:
1. Open project in "ReproProject.zip"
2. This project uses the Input System
3. Build the project for iOS ("entry" Scene)
4. Deploy the project to an iOS device
5. Tap on the Input Field to bring out the iOS native keyboard
6. Keep entering characters in the Input Field

Unexpected behaviour: the Application crashes once Input Field reaches 65 characters

Reproducible with: Input System preview.7 - 1.0.0 (2019.3.15f1, 2020.1.0b10, 2020.2.0a11)
Not reproducible with Input System preview.7 - 1.0.0 (2020.2.0a12, 2020.1.0a13)
Could not test with: 2018.4 because pressing the Input Field does not bring out the native keyboard (I believe this to be due to scripts being unrecognized)

Devices tested:
Reproducible with:
VLNQA00310 iPad Pro 12.9 (iOS 13.4.1)
VLNQA00015, Samsung Galaxy Note8 (SM-N950W), Android 8.0.0, CPU: Snapdragon 835 MSM8998, GPU: Adreno (TM) 540
VLNQA00285, Samsung Galaxy J4 Core (SM-J410F), Android 8.1.0, CPU: Snapdragon 425 MSM8917, GPU: Adreno (TM) 308
Could not test with:
VLNQA00204 iPhone 5C (iOS 10.3.3) (unable to install)

Notes:
1. I believe this to be a Unity regression which surfaces when using Input System Package
2. This issue has been fixed in 2020.2.0a12

  1. Resolution Note (fix version 2020.2):

    Fixed in 2020.2.0a12

  2. Resolution Note (fix version 2019.4):

    Fixed in 2019.4.17f1 (667c8606c536)

    I have the same issue.

    Is it hard to fix?

    2019.4 LTS please!

I don't understand why LTS is always last to get these fixes, if at all. Surely it should be a focus as most published games likely use the LTS version.

Why did you call 2019.4 LTS ? all the issue fixes I'm finding are destined to 2020.

Can confirm this is also reproducible with:
    - Input System preview.7 - 1.0.0 (2019.4.5f1, 2019.4.6f1)
    - Input System 1.0.0 (2019.4.5f1)
