Postponed means that the issue was either a feature request or something that requires major refactoring on our side. Since that makes the issue not actionable in the close future we choose to close it as Postponed and add it on our internal roadmaps and technical debt pages instead.

Regression
No
Internal compiler error reported instead of Syntax error
Steps to reproduce
---------------------
1. Create a script that includes two variable declarations, the first one should include braces, such as rect, Vector2, Vector3 etc
2. Now, on the first deceleration do not place the semi-colon on the end of the line. Creating a syntax error.
// example
Vector2 a = new Rect(0,0,0,0)
float b = 1f;
3. Switch to the editor and note that an 'Internal compiler error' is reported rather than a syntax error.
