Installing Entities Graphics package after creating an Empty Sub Scene throws “AssertionException” error and spams unclearable NullReferenceException” or “ObjectDisposedException” errors in the Console
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new Unity project
2. Open Package Manager window
3. Find and install Entities package
4. In Hierarchy window right-click on “SampleScene” and select New Empty Sub Scene…
5. Go back to Package Manager window
6. Find and install Entities Graphics package
7. Observe the Console window
Actual results: “AssertionException” errors are thrown in the Console and unclearable “NullReferenceException” or “ObjectDisposedException” errors are thrown in the Console
Expected results: No errors or warnings are thrown in the Console window
Reproducible with versions: 1.4.16 (6000.0.63f1, 6000.2.14f1, 6000.3.0f1), 6.4.0 (6000.4.0a5), 6.5.0 (6000.5.0a2)
Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 24.04, macOS Silicon Tahoe 26.0.1 (M1)
