How to reproduce:

Reproducible with: 2019.2.0a5, 2019.3.12f1, 2020.1.0b8, 2020.2.0a9

I used the following to enable loading projects again:
On stackoverflow: "How to increase the maximum number of child processes that can be spawned by a windows service -- desktop heap limits"
I chose 1024 as that value.

I'm having that problem with Unity 2022.3.19f1, "Initial Asset Database Refresh", on any project, even a new one.

Same here. Can't even start with my first project.

Freeze on initial Asset database refresh is still a problem on Linux (I use kubuntu) from 2022 on. It happens randomly with whatever project. This means, even a project just made.
