[HomeScreen] Clicking on 'new project' makes buttons disappear
Steps to repro:
1. Open the homescreen
2. Press 'new project'
3. Observe buttons at top right: http://screencast.com/t/8qkKUpvb5uG3
They gradually disappear.
Expected behavior: buttons should disappear immediatly
