Hierarchy V2 When Query Builder is disabled Search Field's background text suggests using Tab to filter results but it does nothing
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the attached project
- Open the TestScene
- Open Preferences -> General and Disable Query Builder for Hierarchy
- Observe the Hierarchy's Search Field. Background placeholder text suggests using Tab to filter results
- Try entering a Query and pressing the Tab button
Actual results: Nothing happens
Expected results: Either the Tab shortcut for Search Query filtering is functional, or the background text suggestion is removed
Actual results: Object's reference search query overlaps with the Search Bar's "Search Item" background text
Expected results: Search Bar's "Search Item" background text disappears when the Object's reference search query is entered
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0a2, 6000.3.0a6
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.56f1, 6000.1.16f1, 6000.2.1f1, 6000.3.0a1 (Hierarchy V2 not available)
Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 24.04, macOS 15.6.1
Notes:
- When the Query Builder for Hierarchy Search is enabled, the Tab key can be used to open the Add New Query Block window. The background text suggestion is not present when Query Builder is enabled, however
