Giving prefab the same name as other prefab had while it has missing prefab instance open for editing breaks the scene view
To reproduce:
1. Create prefab
2. Create another prefab
3. Open first prefab for editing.
4. Delete first prefab asset.
5. Rename second prefab asset name to be the same as first one had.
Expected result: Not sure.
Actual result: Breaks the scene window, many errors in console.

I had the same bug while working in 2018.4.0f1. Tested it additionally in 2018.4.4f1 and could reproduce it there as well. Only a restart of the editor seams to work to get you out of this bad state.
