I have a problem with the editor crashing. I am using Unity 5.1.2f1. Also, I am not importing Unity Integration package provided by Oculus. Instead, I just check Virtual Reality Supported for the Android build settings.
I can create the project and build to the device successfully only once. After I close the project and editor, then try to open it again...big crash.

I have this same issue where my app crashes as soon as I place my Galaxy S6 into the gear VR.
