Editing the name of the Tag cause deletion of a tag
- open "Tags&Layers" window
- add a new Tag or edit existing one
- Delete the Tag's name using "Backspace" key character by character
- When the last character is deleted - Tag is also deleted and the next Tag's name dissapears.

workaround: mark the whole name and then type new one
