Duplicate basemap name: _MainTex. Ignoring warning message is thrown when a custom material is assigned to the Terrain
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project named "Case_1224162"
2. Open the Test scene
3. Observe the Console window. If there are no warnings, enter Play mode
Expected results: No warnings or Errors are thrown
Actual result: "Duplicate basemap name: '_MainTex'. Ignoring." is thrown multiple times
Reproducible with: 2019.3.8f1, 2020.1.0b4, 2020.2.0a5
Could not test with: 2017.4.38f1(No package manager), 2018.4.20f1(Unable to downgrade the project)
Notes:
- HDRP package versions tested: 7.3.1, 8.0.1, 9.0.0-preview.9(SRP master branch 2020-04-01)
