The error "Dedicated Server support for Linux is not installed" occurs when you switch to 'Dedicated Server' and 'Linux' in the Build Settings after installing the Linux build support. This issue has been seen in versions 2022.1.0a13, 2022.1.0b11, and 2022.2.0a1, but it is fixed in version 2022.2.0a2. For additional support or if you need to buy a VPS server, HostNoc can provide the solutions you need.

As mentioned above, install the Linux Dedicated Server Build Support module in Unity Hub

This is happening in latest LTS from 2021.3.8f1

Any plans to backport this issue?

You have to download the support installer from the unity whats new page for the version you have installed.
