Regression
No
"Cycle Offset" Animation property can be set to an invalid value when edited in the Inspector's "Import Settings" tab
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-89409“ project
2. In the Project window, open the “Animations” directory
3. Select any animation in the folder
4. In the Inspector, navigate to the “Animation” tab
5. In the “Cycle Offset” field, input any value less than 0 or greater than 1
6. Observe the result
Expected result: The input value gets clamped between 0 and 1
Actual result: The input value remains unchanged and is not corrected
Reproducible in: 2021.3.46f1, 2022.3.54f1, 6000.0.30f1, 6000.1.0a7
Reproducible on: Windows 11, macOS 15 (M1) (By user)
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
• Animations continue to work when the Cycle Offset is set outside the valid range, as only changes in the decimal part affect the animation clip
• According to the official documentation (https://docs.unity3d.com/6000.0/Documentation/ScriptReference/Animations.AnimatorState-cycleOffset.html), the valid range for Cycle Offset is 0 to 1.0
