Crashing always after changed some of the layers in controller to "sync + override
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached user project (minotor)
2. Create an empty scene
3. Create a cube and attach an Animator component
4. Add a Player.controller to an Animator component
Expected result: editor should not crash when the Player.controller is assigned to an Animator
Actual result: editor crashes when the Player.controller is assigned to an Animator
Reproduced in: 5.5.1f1, 5.4.4p4
Not reproduced in 5.6.0f3, 2017.1.0b2
