Crash in PrepareRenderNodesOnMainThreadDeprecated when selecting objects in the Hierarchy
To reproduce:
1. Open attached project (stripped.zip);
2. Open "free_mode" scene;
3. Attempt to select Main Camera (works with other objects too) in the Hierarchy.
Expected result: Editor doesn't crash when selecting objects in the Hierarchy.
Actual result: Editor crashes when selecting objects in the Hierarchy.
Note: if you delete "Water4Simple" prefab - Unity does not crash anymore.
Reproduced on versions: 5.5.4p1, 5.6.2p1, 2017.1.0f2, 2017.2.0b1.
