Color selection by the mouse cursor is still enabled when the "Esc" button is pressed
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “ASDQWE” project
2. Open the “Assets/Scenes/SampleScene.unity” Scene
3. In the Hierarchy Window, select “Main Camera” GameObject
4. In the Inspector Window, under the “Camera” Component, select “Background” Property’s pipette icon
5. Press the “Esc” button on your keyboard
Expected result: Colour selection by the mouse cursor is canceled
Actual result: Colour selection by the mouse cursor is still enabled

Reproducible on: Intel MacOS 13.3.1
Not reproducible on: Windows 10 22H2
