“ArgumentOutOfRangeException“ error when selecting 'TMP_InputField' content using keyboard in WebGL build
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-85214“ project
2. Open the Build Profiles window (File -> Build Profiles).
3. Select “Development Build“
4. Build and run (WebGL)
5. Type “12345“ in the text box
6. Press ‘Ctrl + A’
7. Observe the ‘Development Console’ window
Expected result: No errors are shown
Actual result: “ArgumentOutOfRangeException“ error is shown
Reproducible with: 2022.3.50f1, 6000.0.23f1
Reproduced on: Windows 11
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Not reproducible in Play Mode
- Reproduces on Firefox, Chrome, Safari
- Might cause a freeze in addition to the errors
- The issue seems to resolve itself if you select something outside the ‘TMP_InputField’ and then reselect the ‘TMP_InputField’
