'ArgumentNullException' is thrown when creating a TextMeshPro font Asset from the Unity main menu
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached ‘PlayerSettingsTest' project
2. Right-click on the ‘Assets/Fonts/CC-Zoinks-Medium’ and select ‘Create → TextMeshPro → Font Asset’
3. Observe the Console
Expected result: No errors are in the Console
Actual result: ‘ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null' exception is in the Console
Reproducible with: 3.0.6 (2021.3.4f1, 2022.1.4f1, 2022.2.0a18, 2023.1.0a1)
Not reproducible with: 3.2.0-pre.1 (2021.3.4f1, 2022.1.4f1, 2022.2.0a18, 2023.1.0a1)
Could not test with: 2020.3.35f1 (Console errors)
Reproduced on: macOS 11.6 (Intel)
