Animation window stays empty when a Game Object is selected on exiting Play Mode
How to reproduce:
1. Open any project
2. Select a GameObject in Hierarchy
3, Navigate to Windows > Animation > Animation
4. Click "Create" in the Animation Window
5. Enter and Exit Play Mode
Expected result: Animation Window shows Clips for selected GameObject, as Inspector shows Components for it
Actual result: You Have to select another GameObject in Hierarchy and then reselect the one you're interested in to have the Keyframes show up
Reproducible with: 2020.3.45f1, 2021.3.19f1, 2022.2.7f1, 2023.1.0b6, 2023.2.0a2
