[Android][Vulkan] Visualisation corruption occurs when rendering Particles to Render Texture
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user’s attached “ParticleRenderIssue” project
2. Build and Run the “SampleScene” Scene on Android device
3. Observe the Player
Expected result: No corruption is observed at rendering
Actual result: Once in a few frames corrupted Particle is visualised
Reproducible with: 2020.3.42f1, 2021.3.15f1 (user's info), 2022.2.2f1, 2023.1.0a24 (dev's info)
Reproduced on: macOS 13.0 (Intel)
Reproducible with devices:
VLNQA00472 - Samsung Galaxy A52 (SM-A525F), CPU: Snapdragon 720G (SM7125), GPU: Adreno 618, OS: 12
VLNQA00414 - Galaxy Note10+ 5G (SM-N976V), CPU: Snapdragon 855 SM8150, GPU: Adreno 640, OS: 9
VLNQA00409 - Galaxy Z Fold3 5G (SM-F926B), CPU: Snapdragon 888, GPU: Adreno 660, OS: 11
VLNQA00335 - Galaxy S20+ 5G (SM-G986B), CPU: Exynos 990, GPU: Mali-G77, OS: 10.0.0
VLNQA00331 - HUAWEI P20 lite (ANE-LX1), CPU: HiSilicon Kirin 659, GPU: Mali-T830, OS: 9
VLNQA00096 - Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F), CPU: Exynos 9 Octa 8895, GPU: Mali-G71, OS: 8.0.0
Note:
- With some devices, around ~20 seconds is needed to wait in order to reproduce the issue.
However, adjusting the rotation speed within the Player may speed up the reproduction process
- Not reproducible with OpenGL ES
- Developers state that the issue is reproducible on Vulkan and DX11 Editor. However, after ~5-10 minutes spent on both Vulkan and DX11 Windows Editor failed to reproduce the issue on testing machine
- Failed to reproduce on versions coming after 2020.3 stream on Android and Editor. However, user states that in their original project it still reproduces in 2021.3 stream and one of the devs was able to reproduce on 2023.1 stream
